Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Risense (the "App"), published by Onur Bulut ("developer", "we"). By using the App you agree to them. On Apple devices Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; where these terms conflict with it, Apple's agreement prevails.
1. Health notice
Risense is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Programs, weight and rep targets, deload suggestions and exercise instructions follow general training principles; they do not know your health, injuries or medication.
- Talk to a doctor before starting a new training program, especially if you have a health condition, an injury or are pregnant.
- Stop exercising immediately and get medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or chest pain.
- Use safety equipment and, where needed, a spotter when lifting. Judging whether a suggested weight suits you is your responsibility.
2. Using the App
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be at least 16. Do not try to disrupt the App or its server, access other people's data, or copy its content (including exercise photos) by reverse engineering.
3. Account
An account is optional and only needed for backup and syncing between devices. You are responsible for the security of your Apple or Google account. You can delete your account in the App at any time (how?).
4. Risense Pro subscription
- The log, the exercise library and your history are free. Features such as coach suggestions and deload alerts require a Risense Pro subscription.
- Pro is an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. The current price is shown in the App before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel it in the App Store under Settings > your name > Subscriptions, or in Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; Pro stays on until then.
- Refunds follow the store's rules and are handled by Apple or Google; as they make the sale, we cannot issue refunds ourselves. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
5. Content and intellectual property
The App, the Risense name and logo, and the exercise photos and instructions belong to the developer and may not be reproduced without permission. The workout data you enter is yours; you only allow us to store and process it to provide the service to you.
6. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors, or that calculated targets will suit you. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from using the App or for damages caused by ignoring the health notice. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes to or end of the service
We may change features to improve the App. If we ever need to shut down the sync service, we will announce it in the App at least 30 days in advance; data on your device is not affected.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. As a consumer, you keep any right to bring a claim before the consumer bodies and courts where you live.
9. Changes and contact
When we update these terms we change the date above and announce significant changes in the App. Questions: Onur Bulut · help@onurbulut.dev
